Each year a new maze design is cut into the field during mid-July when the corn is young by Shawn Stolworthy of MazePlay, a design and GPS consultant firm from Firth, Idaho. Once the year’s design is approved, Stolworthy arrives at the cornfield at the appointed time, unloads his tractor and cuts the field in about three hours sometimes even after dark totally directed by a Global Positioning System driven device that he devised as part of his maze-cutting business. Stolworthy cuts more than 80 corn mazes during his season all over America and Canada. Stolworthy has cut five mazes at Mazza Farms in as many years and this is only one of three in New England. The other two are located in Connecticut. For a look at the other Stolworthy mazes, visit his web site at www.mazeplay.com.

We are the home of Vermont’s Premier Family Corn Maze & our theme this year is CAMPING ACROSS AMERICA!!!! Come celebrate some “amazing” places found in America as you find your way through 13 acres of corn & 5.1 miles of paths. Don’t worry, we have an Early Exit option available (if you can find it) so you can “escape” if you need to. As always there are some CLUES scattered along the paths of the maze, although we admit, they’re not always as helpful as you might like! Then of course we have our infamous 8 PUNCHES to find. Without question, this is a very challenging job to find all the punches! If you are not familiar with these, all 8-hole punches are different shapes & you can try & find all of them & punch your card while solving the maze. It is an AWESOME challenge!
